I thought the first place to start might be with an idea of "Work in progress".. after all, we are ALL works in progress! Right?
Yesterday, I finished a portrait of Amy Winehouse, (Uploaded to the site already!)... and this morning I started another small piece, as the next piece in the (planned) series of smaller, classic-looking paintings.
This was the first, completed a couple weeks ago...
... entitled "Pearls", in acrylics, it measures 12" x 12", on mdf board, and finished with red diamond-dust inlaid into the final varnish - not visible on this photo, but can be seen in this video, taken at the varnishing process....
... and now it sits in a beautiful frame, waiting for its new owner and a new forever home!!
..... the new one, started today is as yet untitled, and so far consists of a few guidelines, and the start of the first layer of paint....
